Department Mission Statement:  To provide engineering and basic public services to maintain the City of Maryville's infrastructure and natural resource systems that enhance a high quality of life for our citizens.  This is done while affording the maximum benefits and convenience to the public and providing citizens and visitors of Maryville with the essential services of grounds maintenance, solid waste collection, roads and drainage.  Our goal is to accomplish this as efficiently as possible while maintaining a realistic, cost effective budget with a vision for the future. 
Brief Description of Department: Engineering and Public Works constructs, maintains, manages and administers the City's streets, sidewalks, signs, parking garages, parking lots, bridges, solid waste pickup, grounds maintenance, and stormwater infrastructure.  EPW also provides services in the areas of project planning; engineering design; plans review; traffic operations; and environmental and stormwater management.
