NOTICE 7/28/2025:
The elevators at the Broadway Municipal Parking Garage in downtown Maryville are currently out of service. Our facilities management team is working to restore service as soon as possible. The City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Streets department has closed a section of Waters Road between Waters Place Drive and Tuckaleechee Pike today for paving. This closure will be in place until approximately 12 noon.

Due to the hot, dry weather and low humidity conditions, the city of Maryville Fire Department is placing a temporary burn ban and will not be issuing burn permits until conditions are deemed safe. The ban prohibits open fires such as brush burning and recreational fires. This effort from our citizens, visitors, and neighbors will keep our community safe during the dangerous dry conditions.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Maryville Fire at 865-273-3601. Once the ban has been lifted it will be communicated. The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department will close High Street from College Street to Patton Alley on Wednesday, July 23. This closure will be in place from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 3:30 p.m. while crews work on water and sewer construction.

To improve safety for motorists and pedestrians alike, the City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Department will install new four-way stop signs at the intersection of Mountain View Avenue and Cunningham Street. On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the new stop signs will be installed and become active. Please exercise caution when traveling through the intersection during the transition and for a short time afterward.

The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department will close the northbound lane of Peterson Lane at the intersection of Carpenters Grade Road. Crews are working on a water service repair. This closure will be in place from 9 a.m. until approximately 11 a.m.

The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department has closed Wilson Ave. from Montvale Rd. to Court St. today, July 17th while crews work to repair a pipe failure. This closure is expected to be in place until approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon.

The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department has closed the northbound lane of Peterson Lane from Carpenters Grade Road to Sugarwood Drive. Crews are working on a water main repair. This closure will be in place until approximately 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact the Water and Sewer Department at 865-273-3300. The City of Maryville Stormwater Department has closed a short section of Wilson Ave. from 121 Wilson to 127 Wilson today, July 16th. At 9:00 am. this morning crews began working on a recently discovered pipe failure. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route. If that is not possible, please proceed with extreme caution and expect delays.
