The City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works (EPW) department announced contractors with the Maryville High School expansion project will close Cunningham Street from W. Broadway Avenue to Highland Avenue beginning Tuesday, September 2nd. This closure will be in effect until Monday, September 22 while crews work on utility installation.
For questions or concerns, call EPW at 865-273-3500. The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department has Peterson Lane closed between Mark Lane and Carpenters Grade Road this morning. This closure will be in effect until approximately 4:30 p.m. while crews work on a water line replacement.

The City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Department will be working to repair sidewalks at the intersection of Leconte Drive and Montgomery Lane for the remainder of the week. This work will begin at 8 a.m. each day and continue until approximately 3 p.m. During those hours temporary traffic lights will be in place for the safety of our employees and drivers as well. Please slow down and use caution as you pass through the area.

To improve safety at the intersection of Cross Creek Drive and Carpenters Grade Road, a temporary traffic signal will be installed. On August 4, the signal will begin flashing yellow to alert drivers to use caution. On Monday, August 11, the signal will become fully operational. Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution while traveling through the intersection during the transition period and shortly afterward.
