The City of Maryville advises motorists that several downtown streets will be temporarily closed on Thursday, September 24, 2026, to accommodate the Homecoming Parade for area high schools. Sevierville Road and Church Street will close at 5 p.m. for parade staging, followed by Court Circle at 5:30 p.m. and all feeder streets connecting to Broadway Avenue at 6:20 p.m. North Cusick Street, North Court Street, College Street, Patton Street, and Church Avenue will remain closed during the parade and will reopen shortly after the event concludes. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the downtown area.
