Beginning June 23, 2025, the Bicentennial Park area of the Greenbelt trail at McCammon Avenue across from Maryville Towers will be closed for park improvement construction. The work is expected to be completed by October 1, weather depending. Although the park area will be closed, the perimeter trail and sidewalks will remain open to access both sides of the greenway as well as the McCammon Avenue parking area – which will also remain open.
Lighting around the monument area will be out for the duration of the project. Lighting at the creek side of the area and including the new bridge will also be affected but we are working to delay these as long as possible.
