A new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of Old Niles Ferry Road and West Broadway Avenue.
The signal will begin operating in flashing mode on Wednesday, July 1. This state-required phase helps motorists become familiar with the new signal and adjust their driving habits before full operation begins.
During this period, the signal will flash yellow on West Broadway Avenue, indicating drivers should proceed with caution. It will flash red on Old Niles Ferry Road, requiring drivers to come to a complete stop before proceeding when safe.
The signal is expected to begin normal operation in approximately two weeks.

Road Closure Notice for June 30 - July 15, 2026

Merritt Construction will be closing Cunningham Street from W Broadway Avenue to Lawrence Avenue on Tuesday, June 30. The closure continues through Wednesday, July 15, to install a water line. This will be a daily closure from 7AM to 5PM.
