East Tennessee Natural Gas will be working to repair gas lines near Rural King over the next two weeks starting on Monday, October 13, 2025. Crews will continue this first phase of work until the end of the day on Thursday, October 16. On Tuesday, October 21, the second phase of work will begin and should be wrapped up sometime on Friday, October 24.
This work will be done in the southbound lane of McCammon Ave., resulting in an around the clock lane closure for both phases. Southbound traffic will be detoured to N. Calderwood St. while crews are present in the work zone.
