The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department has closed a section of N. Everett High Road from Jefferson Avenue to East Harper Avenue. This closure will be in effect until approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon while crews work on utility construction.

Cleary Construction, the City's contractor, will be closing Carpenters Grade Road from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM on Tuesday, May 5th and Wednesday, May 6th with Southbound traffic being rerouted through Cross Creek and Knight Bridge subdivisions. They will be working on placement of concrete curb and gutters along the alignment between Barrington Blvd. and Kirkland Estates. This work is expected to take two days, weather permitting. 

​In the event that Wednesday work cannot be performed due to rain, it will be performed on the next available good weather day. Please see the map for detour information.

​A contractor working with the City of Maryville’s Engineering and Public Works Department will be resurfacing several of the City’s streets beginning Monday, May 4, 2026 on Broady Lane.
 
Work will be done beginning at 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. While the resurfacing work is in progress, motorists will experience partial lane closures and flagged traffic, but no detours are expected. For more information call (865) 273-3500.

The City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Streets Department has temporarily closed a section of S. Court Street this morning for street repairs. The closure is in effect from the alley just south of High Street to Lamar Alexander Parkway.

Work began at 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 12 p.m. today.

Contractors working on the Carpenters Grade Road job have closed the intersection of Barrington Blvd. and Carpenters Grade today for grading. This closure will be in effect until approximately 2:30 p.m.

The City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Streets Department will close a short section of Columbus Street from Morningside Avenue to Hannah Avenue today. This closure began at 8 a.m. this morning and will be in effect until approximately 3 p.m. while crews work on street repairs.

The City of Maryville Water & Sewer Department is working on a sewer repair on Miller Avenue today. As a result, Miller Avenue will be closed between Cates Street and Montvale Road from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 2:30 p.m.
