How will I know when a job is open for recruitment?

How do I apply for a position?
The City of Maryville only accepts applications when there are positions available. Applications are available in the human resources office or can be downloaded from our website. Applications must be returned to the Human Resources Office no later than 5 p.m. on the closing date.
How do I find out about the job, its duties, and if any examinations or testing is required?
The job advertisement includes the salary, duties of the job, education needed and additional requirements necessary to apply. It also includes the dates that applications are being accepted.
If I want to apply for more than one job, do I have to file more than one application?
Yes, you must submit a separate job application for each position.You may apply for as many jobs as you wish. Since we generally receive a large number of applications for an open position, the evaluation process can take several weeks. We give each application the careful consideration it deserves.
