Beer Permit Application
Beer permit applications and associated beer ordinances may be obtained from the City Recorder's Office in person, by mail, or you can print the PDF document by clicking below . All Applications MUST be completed and returned to the city Recorder's Office by the 1st of the month in order to be considered on the following month's Beer Board Agenda. The City of Maryville has no provisions for a special event beer permit.  

There is a $250 non-refundable application fee. New applicants must submit their completed beer permit application and pay the associated application fee by either check or cash in person to the City Recorder's Office.   Additional fees include: a $100 annual beer privilege tax which will be prorated during your first year based on the month of approval, $10 required signage (provided by City of Maryville), and $50 fee for fingerprinting payable to the Maryville Police Department.

The City of Maryville Beer Board meets the 1st Tuesday of each month. Please contact the City Recorder's Office if you have further questions.

Liquor-by-the-Drink License Liquor-by-the-drink licenses are issued by the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) . The City of Maryville will  receive a letter of the state liquor license approval.
