City of Maryville beer ordinances and applications are available in the City Recorder's Office, by mail, or by clicking the links below.
All applications must be completed and returned to the City Recorder's Office by the first day of the month in order to be considered on the following month's Beer Board agenda. The city of Maryville Beer Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month as needed.

Ordinances & Information Applications for Beer Permits Special Events
  • $250 non-refundable application fee
    New applicants must submit their completed beer permit application and pay the associated application fee by check, cash or credit card in person to the City Recorder's Office
  • Additional fees include a $100 annual beer privilege tax which will be prorated during your first year based on the month of approval
  • $10 required signage provided by City of Maryville

Liquor by the Drink

​Liquor-by-the-drink licenses are issued by the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC). The City will receive notification of the state liquor license approval when it has been issued.
