When you click the link to the portal below, you'll get Security Request that asks for a user name and password. This is different from the password you set up for your portal account. For this one, just use "portal" and "portal" and you will be taken to the normal login screen.

OptumRx

The City is switching pharmacy providers from Express Scripts to OptumRx. The new plan will begin January 1, 2020.
Meetings will be held November 11 - 18. Download a copy of the meeting overview here.

Highlights of the Switch

New UMR ID cards will be mailed to your home address at the end of December.
Co-pays remain the same.
90 day supply for one co-pay remains the same.
Access the OptumRx portal through the UMR.com website. Check order status, manage prescriptions and additional tools available.

Actions you need to take:
Ask your physician to provide a new 90 day prescription for each medication to OptumRx.
Your doctor may require an in-person visit before writing a new prescription. Be sure to allow enough time before January 1 to make your appointment.
Your doctor may send an electronic prescription to OptumRx. ​If you are given a paper prescription, you will need to download this Home Delivery Order Form to order new prescriptions.
​
Specialty Medications Information - very specialized, usually expensive medications. If you are on a specialty drug, you know that it is. These drugs will be transferred from Accredo (ESI) to Briova (Optum RX) specialty drug company. Employees will receive information closer to January 1.

2022 W-4 Forms Issued by IRS
2022 W-4 forms are available from the IRS. Employees with a W-4 on file do not have to submit a new form. However, due to the changes in tax structure, it is advisable to review your tax obligation and be sure you are withholding the right amount. If you wish to review your tax withholding amount, please contact HR for more information.
