City of Maryville Water & Sewer Department has released the new water quality report. It is available for download at maryvillegov.com/water-quality-report.

The City of Maryville Stormwater Division will close the right northbound lane on US Highway 411 South from William Blount Drive to North Cloverhill Road today from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. to repair storm drains. ​

Maryville Water and Sewer will have Pinecrest Circle at Tuckaleechee Pike closed all day Thursday, March 22 for sewer work. One entrance will be completely closed but local traffic can enter at the other entrance if the destination is on Pinecrest.

Engineering and Public Works will close the right northbound lane on Hwy. 411 S. from Clover Hill to Ridgeway Trial on Thursday, March 22 beginning at 8:30 a.m. until approximately 2:30 p.m. They will be working on replacing a storm  drain catch basin during this time. Please use extra caution when traveling through the area.

TVA Schedules Maintenance for Alcoa's Chandler and Maryville's Stock Creek Substations

Due to the predicted inclement weather, the cities of Alcoa and Maryville electric departments have been notified by TVA that the maintenance originally planned for Saturday, March 24th at the Chandler Substation has been delayed. Work will now be completed on Saturday, April 7th. No power interruption is expected. In the event of an outage, customers are asked to report the outage normally since it could be unrelated to the planned work.
 
To report an outage, City of Maryville electric customers should call the automated outage line at 865-983-8722. City of Alcoa electric customers should call (865) 380-4890.

The Electric Departments of the cities of Alcoa and Maryville received notification that TVA will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on the Chandler and Stock Creek substations. The work is planned for Saturday, March 24. No power interruption is expected. In the event of an outage, customers are asked to report the outage normally since it could be unrelated to the planned work.
 
Planned maintenance will require a temporary load transfer from the Alcoa Chandler substation to the Proffitt Springs and Duncan substations. Maryville’s Stock Creek substation load will be temporarily transferred to the Rockford substation. The Chandler substation feeds the northern portion of Alcoa’s electric system that includes Topside Rd, Bear Hollow, Fox Hills, Lakemont, Singleton Station Rd, Wrights Ferry Rd, Rankin Ferry Rd, Louisville, Mentor, Rocky Waters and McGhee Tyson Airport. Maryville’s Stock Creek substation feeds the Stock Creek industrial park, the Co-op, and some residential customers near Highway 33.

Work has been completed and the road has been reopened.

Engineering and Public Works will have the right northbound lane on U.S. 411 S. from Montgomery Lane to Condry Lane closed on Tuesday, March 13 and Wednesday March 14 beginning at 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for repairs to the concrete. Please use caution when traveling through the area until the work is complete. 

​Maryville Water & Sewer Department will have Everett Ave closed from Hilltop to the dead end all day today to replace a sewer lateral.

City of Maryville Engineering & Public Works department will begin its one-time spring loose leaf collections on March 19th in the red zone.
 
To prevent storm drains from becoming clogged, residents are asked to place leaves in their front lawn next to the curb, not in ditches or in the street. Separate leaves from limbs, brush and junk so they can be composted.
