Tuesday, Jan. 16 - 2:55 p.m. update
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is requesting all customers to voluntarily curtail any non-essential electric loads effective today, January 16, 2024.

Due to forecasted extremely low temperatures in the Tennessee Valley Authority service area tonight and the high electric demand expected on their system, TVA is asking for voluntary curtailment across their entire system.

Customers are asked to voluntarily reduce their electric consumption by turning off unneeded lights and by not using major appliances (ovens, washing machines, washers/dryers, and unplugging devices or appliances not frequently used, etc.).

We appreciate the assistance of our customers. For more information on how to save energy and money, visit: https://energyright.com/residential/education-advice/
