Two Maryville residents have alerted the City about scammers offering to lower their utility bills and taking payment over the phone. These scammers have asked for personal information and debit/credit card information while pretending to discount the customer’s utility bill by a large percentage.

Everett High Rd. to McGinley St. today, Tuesday, October 25, from 9 a.m. until approximately 4:30 p.m. Crews will be working on a sewer tap.

Crews will be working on a sewer crossing during the closure.

The work will require the closure of the northeast-bound lane from Cates to Norwood.
The first phase of the work will start at Cates Street and work towards Cusick Street with plans to finish this section by Thanksgiving. The next phase will continue along Church Avenue from Cusick to Norwood. This project is expected to be completed in January 2023. Motorists should consider an alternate route. City of Maryville Public Works will close Best Street between the entrance to Sandy Springs Park and Montvale Station on Tuesday, October 11 from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to install a new sewer connection across Best Street.
