The City of Maryville Water and Sewer Department will be working on the water line on Wednesday, October 25th along Westfield Drive from Sevierville Road to Eckles Drive, including Clyde Circle. Residents in this area should expect their water to be shut off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. while the crews are working on the 18" water main.
For more information call 273-3304 or 273-3301. Contractors continue resurfacing work on McCammon Avenue as well as Boardman Avenue on Friday, October 20. Final striping and pavement markings will begin today. City staff anticipates completion of the majority of this work Tuesday, October 24.
While the resurfacing work is in progress, motorists will experience partial lane closures and flagged traffic, but no detours are expected. For more information call (865) 273-3500. Maryville's Water & Sewer Department announced the following road closures:
Monday, October 23 - McGhee closed from McNabb to McCammon until noon today. Tuesday, October 17 - McNabb Ln - closed overnight Wednesday, October 18 - McCammon Ave from Home Ave. to McGhee St. - closed all day Motorists will be detoured around the road work during this time.  The City of Maryville Stormwater Division will close one lane of Boardman Avenue from Court Street to Montvale Road from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. today.
City of Maryville’s Engineering and Public Works Department has contracted with APAC Harrison, Inc. to resurface a number of the City’s streets beginning Wednesday, October 11. The following streets will be resurfaced during the contract period (depending on weather and other factors):  Work will be performed from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. while Maryville Schools are out on fall break. The week of October 16, work will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily. Maryville Water & Sewer will have Court St closed from Mockingbird to Wilkinson until 12pm today.
Fall is in the air and soon leaves will be on the ground. City Grounds crews will begin loose leaf collection October 16 with the red zone.
