The City of Maryville Engineering Department announced a renovation project at Amerine Park began on Monday, May 8. Improvements to the park include light replacements and additions, parking lot reconfiguration and rehabilitation, basketball court resurfacing, trail widening and resurfacing, and new bench, table, and playground equipment installations.
Amerine Park is a 7-acre park located on Amerine Road in East Maryville. The facilities include a walking trail, a basketball court, softball and soccer fields, and playground equipment.
The park will be closed to the public during the renovations. It is expected to re-open by July 1, 2023.
