City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works will close both directions of a section of Amerine Road to through traffic at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25 to replace a failing culvert. The work is expected to be complete Friday evening, June 29, depending on weather.
Amerine Road will be closed from Andrea Drive to Fielding Drive. Motorists will need to make use of the planned detour which will follow Andrea Drive to Sevierville Road and then Genesis Street back to Amerine Road. For more information, contact Engineering and Public Works at 273-3500.
