The city of Maryville Water and Sewer Department will close Oak Park Avenue from South Magnolia Street to South Ruth Street today, Friday, June 10. This closure will remain in effect through the end of June while crews work to replace a sewer main. Residents will have access to their homes during this closure. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use extreme caution as workers will be present.
The city of Maryville Water and Sewer Department will have South Magnolia Street closed from White Avenue to Mountain View Avenue all day today, Thursday, June 9. Crews will be working on the sewer line.

The construction of new, accessible curb ramps and pedestrian walkways at intersections is expected to be complete by the end of the day on Friday, June 10. Great news! Engineering and Public Works has finished installing the storm drains on Hilltop Drive. The road is open and will not require closing on Monday or Tuesday next week! UPDATE 6/8/22 Progress on the Hilltop Drive storm drain installation has been slowed by the rain this week. Engineering and Public Works will need to keep a section of Hilltop Drive closed through Friday, June 10. The road will be re-opened for the weekend but closed again on Monday and Tuesday, June 13 and 14. Work is expected to be completed by Tuesday evening, however, progress is dependent on the weather. Beginning Monday, June 6 at 9 a.m. the city of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Department will have a section of Hilltop Drive between Cherry Drive and Elm Drive closed to through traffic. Crews will be working with Atmos Energy to locate gas lines before they begin installing new storm drains. This section of Hilltop Drive will remain closed until approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9. Residents will have access to their homes during this closure. Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution in the area as workers will be present. For more information, call Engineering and Public Works at 865-273-3302. The city of Maryville Electric Department will have Scenic Drive closed to through traffic from Cooper Street to Montgomery Lane today. This closure will be in effect until approximately 4 p.m. while crews work to replace a pole.
The city of Maryville Water & Sewer Department will have South Ruth Street, from West Broadway Avenue to Oak Park Drive, and Oak Park Drive, from South Magnolia Street to South Ruth Street closed until 5 p.m. today. Crews will be replacing manholes on both roads.
