A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 20 from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Gary Hensley room of the Maryville Municipal Building at 400 W. Broadway Avenue. The meeting will provide public information about the Carpenters Grade Road Improvements Project with a formal presentation at 5:30. The purpose of the project is to address safety and capacity concerns and improve pedestrian and bicycle connectivity in a largely residential area. Additionally, the project will evaluate its intersection with Peterson / Raulston for capacity concerns.
The primary objective of the project is to create an improved two lane road with curb and gutter and pedestrian walkways. Various types of intersection improvements will be considered to find the best solution for the intersection of Carpenters Grade and Peterson/ Raulston. The project designers will strive to reduce impacts to property owners.
