Fireworks sales and display fireworks permits are now available through the City's Financial Services Department - City Recorder's Office.
In December, 2018, City Council repealed Code 7-105, Fireworks Regulated, and replaced with a new chapter in title 7 permitting retail sale and discharge in the city under limited circumstances. Now, citizens can discharge fireworks inside the city limits during specified time periods. Additionally, fireworks can be sold within the city limits in specified areas with a proper permit.
