Currently MAARC relies 100% on volunteers and operates with an annual budget of under $200,000. They take in animals from the City of Maryville shelter on Home Avenue and care for them until they are adopted. In the past year MAARC served over 570 dogs and cats in our community.
The dedicated team of volunteers at MAARC works around the clock caring for every animal that enters the shelter. Volunteers work tirelessly to provide not only housing, food, clean cages, and vet visits, but training, love, and socialization as well. MAARC provides everything needed to get the forgotten and abandoned animals ready for their forever home. Due to efforts like these the City of Maryville Animal Shelter has proudly maintained a 95% or better save-rate over the last 5 years.
On October 22, 2021, MAARC is hosting a Masquerade Ball fundraiser at the historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Maryville. The goal for the evening is to raise $25,000. Your financial support will be used to house local homeless animals, provide their vet care, and to spay and neuter every animal that comes into their care.
Individual Tickets will be $75 or purchase a table of 8 for $500.
Your organization can also amplify fundraising efforts by being an event Corporate Sponsor. In this role, your business chooses the Tier of Sponsorship you prefer. In turn, MAARC promotes your involvement in print advertising, online on their website and social media platforms and at the event.
The Tiers of Sponsorship:
- Animal Angel $5,000
- Animal Guardian $2,500
- Animal Steward $1,000
The evening will also include a silent auction and an online auction as well.
By supporting MAARC financially at the Masquerade Ball you will directly affect their efforts to continue to serve Blount County well and help to save the lives of countless dogs and cats in the coming year.
Please join MAARC for a fun filled evening on Fri, October 22, 2021, from 5 to 11 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 127 West Broadway Avenue in beautiful downtown Maryville, Tennessee.
