The Tennessee Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting for the SR 336 from Montvale Station Road to SR 73 project. Click to read the notice sent to homeowners in the area. The meeting is being held to provide the public an opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposed widening project. TDOT representatives will be available to provide information on various aspects of the project.
The meeting will be held on January 31 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Maryville Municipal Building - 400 W. Broadway Avenue - in the Gary Hensley room.
The notice states: "the proposed project consists of widening the existing roadway from two lanes to a three lane roadway that includes two 12 foot travel lanes with a 12 foot center turn lane including curb, gutter, sidewalk, and a multiuse path."
