A contractor for Atmos Energy will be installing new gas line connections along a section of Montvale Station Road between Best Street and South Cedar Street beginning Wednesday, May 8, and continuing until Friday, June 21, 2024.
This section of Montvale Station Road will be closed for three 15-minute intervals a day until the work is complete. The three daily short-term closures will be scheduled when school traffic is lightest to minimize disruption. Montvale Station traffic will detour to Karrow St. during the closures.
At other times, during construction, drivers should expect to encounter temporary lane shifts on Montvale Station Road inside the work zone. If an alternate route is available and possible, we encourage motorists to consider it or to plan for delays. Please use extreme caution in the area. Workers will be present.
