The Regulatory Compliance Administrator performs difficult skilled technical work developing and administrating the Water & Sewer Department's Environmental Compliance Programs, maintaining files and records, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Provides technical support, research, and regulatory guidance to the Water and Sewer Department; reviews existing and proposed local, state, and federal regulations and determines the impact on departmental activities.
- Prepares, publishes, reviews and submits a variety of state and federal compliance reports including, but not limited to the water quality report, biosolids report, Tier II reporting for Hazardous chemical inventory, Risk Management Plan, Source Water Protection Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Water System Risk and Resilience Assessments, Lead and Copper Sampling Plan, Water Loss Audits, sampling, and other reports as needed or required; coordinates distribution, notification, website and other publication of materials.
- Manages spill prevention control and containment plans.
- Assists plant management with national pollutant discharge elimination system permit.
- Assists plant management with risk management plan program administration and management.
- Assists with providing departmental trainings.
- Attends conferences, team meetings, etc.
