The City of Maryville Engineering and Public Works Department announced today that work on the intersection of Best Street and Montvale Station Road is underway. Crews are milling the existing asphalt this week. Re-paving will begin on Tuesday, May 30, and will be completed by Friday, June 2. After the work is complete, the intersection will become an all-way stop controlled intersection.
Montvale Station Road and Best Street will not be closed while work is in progress. However, motorists should expect delays due to necessary traffic control in the construction zone.
